2 DAY JINJA ADVENTURE SAFARI.
Overview.
This 2-day Jinja trip rewards you with the best adventure of exploring different places like Sezibwa Falls in Mukono, Mabira forest, the source of the Nile, and White water rafting.
The journey is filled with amazing attractions, like tea and sugar plantations, and the Mabira forest with its primates like olive baboons and Vervet monkeys. Other optional activities are bird watching, horseback riding, Kayaking, tubing, quad biking, community walks, and much more.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Jinja.
A pick-up from your hotel in Kampala by the driver guide early morning to beat the traffic jam on Kampala-Jinja road. Have the first stopover in Mukono at Sezibwa Falls which offers a great view and also a traditional story and beliefs for Baganda culture. It is therefore traditionally important to the Baganda, and while here, meet the traditional healer in the caves and learn more about their beliefs and culture.
Proceed and have another stopover in Mabira forest for a nature walk and take a zip-lining adventure while listening to different bird sounds, and sight butterflies tree species, and different primates.
Head to Jinja for lunch and finally end the day with another amazing adventure of exploring the source of the River Nile. This is done on a boat cruise, a view where the longest river starts its journey to the Mediterranean Sea. After an hour or two of cruising, you will head to the hotel and check-in for your accommodation.
Day 2: White water rafting and departure.
Start the day with breakfast and then depart from the hotel followed by the highlight adventure of the day, white water rafting. A warm welcome, with a briefing, and then head for a white water rafting adventure on the Nile River. The activity is normally on grade five rapids and you drop and leap while enjoying the forests, and roars of the water among others.
There are other optional adventure activities that you can also choose from, like horseback riding, Kayaking, bungee jumping, quad bikes, and community walks among others. The day will end after the drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for the departure flight.
